Responsibilities: Enemy AI and encounter design
For the majority of the project, my responsibilities dealt with the design- and Blueprint aspects of the enemy AI, primarily working alongside our two animators and the programmer who led our small “AI team”. There were a lot of difficulties along the way, in part due to this being the first project at Fast Travel Games that was built from the ground up in Unreal Engine.
Early on we set out to try making the most terrifying enemies seen in VR yet, and most critics seemed to think that we succeeded.
